The National Adaptation Plan (NAP) Global Network (GN) is supporting Tonga to implement its Joint National Action Plan 2 on Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management (2018-2028) by funding the JNAP Secretariat that comprise of three officers (Technical Officer, Climate Finance Officer and Communications Officer) who are responsible for driving and coordinating the implementation of activities under JNAP 2 in close collaboration with key relevant organizations, sectors and govt. ministries.  International Institute of Sustainable Development (IISD) funding of JNAP Secretariat officers will end in October 31, 2023.  NAP GN also support funding of some activities in JNAP 2.
